things have changed

well...things have definetly changed in the Parish household. We no longer get long nights of sleep, we can't just leave the house when we decide we need to go somewhere and we no longer have any time to ourselves. Don't get me wrong, I know everyone says "its worth it in the end." So I know after a few months I will look back and appreciate it but nobody EVER told me it was going to be this hard. I wake up change diapers, feed her and put her to sleep. That is my whole routine of the day. Over and over and over again. It sounds easy but it is extremely tiring and makes you feel almost worthless. With that venting over with....

I can't believe it has been 2 weeks already! She is already getting so big!! Now I am ready for her to start sleeping through the night! :)

  2. I've been there...trust me :) Cara can tell you all about it! I rem. people telling me it would be hard and life-changing, but until you are experiencing it for yourself do you really understand! I am living-proof (as well as MANY other moms) who went through some postpartum depression, that it does get so much better! I thought life would never be the same, and even though in some ways it isn't, I'm sure you are seeing now that it does slowly become more of a normal. Just make sure you take time for yourself and date nights...that can make a world of a difference for you as a wife and mom. Good luck with it all and have fun! I know we haven't talked in a long time, but I'm an email away if you ever need to!
